The following is a selection of some of my favourite tracks over the years.
FAIRPORT CONVENTION
Who Knows Where the Time Goes by Sandy Denny. This is an absolute classic that invokes strong emotions every time I hear it. Sandy’s voice is just incredibly pure and her words certainly strike a chord, especially as I’ve moved into my mid-sixties. I loved Fairport Convention‘s brand of electric folk during my teenage years in the 1970s and I’ve never lost my taste for their earthy, traditional British folk music. Their music is timeless. Sadly, Sandy passed away at a very early age and her passing was a great loss to the music word. Nevertheless, her musical legacy lives on.
